A pregnant woman has to take a lot of care of herself. Because the baby is feeding on what a pregnant mother is eating, it becomes very important to eat healthy and nutritious food. It not only helps in the child's growth but also gives mother the much required strength to deliver the baby.

USANA has published an infograph about the diet of a pregnant woman. Lets see it:


A pregnant woman must have the following ingredients in her diet:
  • Folic Acid
  • Calcium
  • Iron
  • Vitamin D
They have also mentioned the quantity of intake. For example: 1000 miligrams of calcium is required on daily basis. 27 miligrams of Iron is required daily. On the contrary,  800 micrograms and 600 IU of Folic Acid and Vitamin D is required respectively.
