If you are shopping for infant clothing, do not forget to buy baby bibs. Bibs are important part of baby’s wardrobe. Using bibs during feeding and meal time prevents milk spills and food from spoiling your baby’s neat and clean clothes. They also prevent food particles to come in to contact with your baby’s skin and prevents skin rash and allergies.

Since baby bibs come in many styles and designs and colours, use these tips to make your task easy.
  • Keep the age of our baby in mind when buying bibs for her or him. If your baby is only 2 months old, do not buy a bib for toddlers as it would be too big for your baby and would not be able to serve its purpose.
  • Look for baby bibs that are easy to put on and take off. It would be good both for the baby as well as for you.
  • Baby bib should be comfortable to wear and should not make the baby uneasy. If the bib is tight around the neck, it can make it difficult for the baby to breathe in.
  • Bibs should have the ability to absorb milk, food, and other spills. Check the material of the bib to ensure that it would be able to absorb any spills and would prevent your baby’s pristine clothing from getting spoiled.
  • Buy these nifty pieces of baby clothing items and have them in every room of your house to ensure that you get them when you need them the most.

Infant clothing can be irresistible. When parents are out shopping for new born essentials, they are attracted to infant clothing. Cute, little, and beautiful-it is impossible not to buy infant clothing. But how should parents choose infant clothing? Here are some important things that parents must keep in mind while shopping for infant clothing.
  1. New born clothing comes in attractive designs and styles. There are body suits, overalls, pants, shorts, jeans, dungaree, skirts, leggings, tops, and frocks. It is advisable to buy clothes that are easy to wear and take out while changing diapers. You should be able to change soiled diapers without taking out the clothes entirely as newborns can easily catch cold if they are undressed several times in a day.
  2. Baby’s skin is very sensitive. Look out for clothes made out of natural cotton fabric as it is soft and gentle and easy to breathe in. Synthetic fabrics are a complete no as they can cause rashes, skin irritation, and can be quite uncomfortable to wear.
  3. Pick up appropriate size of baby clothing. Choose clothes based on your baby’s weight rather than the age. Infant clothing should be neither too loose nor too tight. It should be sizeable enough to allow free movement of the baby.
  4. Select clothes keeping in mind the surrounding temperature. Infant clothing should keep your baby warm during winters and cool during summers.
  5. Colours play an equally important role when selecting infant clothing. It is not necessary to buy blue colour for boys and pink for girls. You can try out new colours to make your baby’s wardrobe colourful and interesting.
